Papaya mash

Papaya mash

Ingredients

  • 1 wedge ripe papaya

Contains: None of the common allergens

Method

  1. Scoop out the seeds and cut the flesh off the skin.
  2. Mash with a fork — ripe papaya is as soft as butter.
  3. Serve at room temperature.
Safety: Ripe only. No salt and no sugar. A baby's kidneys cannot handle added salt, and nothing here needs it.
Storage: Serve fresh.
Tip: One of the softest fruits there is, and a first fruit in much of the world. Ripe means orange skin that gives to a thumb.
