Peanut butter toast fingers
- Age: 10–12 months (Self-feeding)
- Texture: Finger food
- Prep: 4 min
- Cook: 0 min
- Makes: 1 portion
Ingredients
- 1 slice wholemeal bread
- 1 tsp smooth peanut butter
- 1 tsp your baby's usual milk or water
Contains: Peanut, Wheat
Method
- Toast the bread well and cut into fingers.
- Thin the peanut butter with the milk until spreadable, then spread a thin layer.
- Serve.
Safety: A thin, thinned layer. A thick smear of peanut butter is sticky enough to be a hazard on its own.
Storage: Serve fresh.
Tip: The everyday way to keep peanut in the diet once it has been introduced — a couple of times a week is the aim.
