Cheese on toast fingers
- Age: 8–10 months (New textures)
- Texture: Finger food
- Prep: 2 min
- Cook: 4 min
- Makes: 1 portion
Ingredients
- 1 slice wholemeal bread
- 2 tbsp mild cheddar, grated
Contains: Wheat, Milk
Method
- Toast the bread on one side under the grill.
- Scatter the cheese on the other side and grill until melted and just bubbling.
- Cool until the cheese is set, then cut into fingers.
Safety: Melted cheese stays hot: wait until it has set before serving. Always sit your baby upright and stay with them while they eat.
Storage: Serve fresh.
Tip: The classic. Two tablespoons of cheese is the amount — enough to taste, not enough to salt the meal.
