Watermelon strips

Watermelon strips

Ingredients

  • 1 wedge seedless watermelon

Contains: None of the common allergens

Method

  1. Cut the flesh off the rind into strips as wide as your finger.
  2. Check each strip for seeds — even seedless melons have a few white ones — and hand over cold.
Safety: Seeds removed; strips, never cubes or balls. Always sit your baby upright and stay with them while they eat.
Storage: Fridge 1 day, cut.
Tip: Mostly water, very soft, and cold on sore gums. A summer afternoon food.
