- Texture: Finger food
- Prep: 10 min
- Cook: 0 min
- Makes: 2 children
Ingredients
- 2 wholemeal pittas
- 4 tbsp houmous
- 1/2 cucumber, in sticks
- 1 carrot, grated
- a few leaves lettuce, shredded
- 2 tbsp grated cheese
Contains: Wheat, Sesame, Milk
Method
- Warm the pittas, cut in half, and open the pockets.
- Put every filling in its own small bowl.
- Let your child spread the houmous and choose the fillings. Cut the filled pocket into pieces.
Safety: Grated carrot rather than sticks — raw carrot sticks wait until closer to four.

Tip: Jobs for small hands: spreading, choosing, stuffing. A child who built it eats it.
