Date and oat bites
- Age: 10–12 months (Self-feeding)
- Texture: Finger food
- Prep: 8 min
- Cook: 0 min
- Makes: 8 bites
Ingredients
- 4 soft dates, stoned and chopped fine
- 4 tbsp fine oats
- 1 tbsp smooth peanut butter
- 1 tbsp water
Contains: Peanut, Wheat
Method
- Blend the dates with the water to a paste. Mix in the oats and peanut butter.
- Press into small flat discs and chill 20 minutes to firm.
Safety: Dates blended to a paste — whole or chopped dried fruit is sticky and a choking shape. Pressed flat, not rolled into balls.
Storage: Fridge 4 days.
Tip: No-bake, no sugar, and a way to keep peanut in the week. Dates do the sweetening.
