Roasted vegetable pieces
- Age: 10–12 months (Self-feeding)
- Texture: Finger food
- Prep: 6 min
- Cook: 25 min
- Makes: 2 portions
Ingredients
- 1/2 courgette
- 1/2 red pepper
- 1/4 aubergine
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 pinch dried oregano
Contains: None of the common allergens
Method
- Cut everything into finger-sized pieces and toss in the oil and oregano.
- Roast at 200 °C for 25 minutes until soft and lightly caught.
- Cool.
Safety: Pepper skin peels off after roasting; remove it. Always sit your baby upright and stay with them while they eat.

Tip: Roasted vegetables are sweeter and softer than steamed, and a baby will eat aubergine this way that it refused as purée.
