Tuna pasta bake
- Age: 12–18 months (Family food)
- Texture: Family meal
- Prep: 8 min
- Cook: 25 min
- Makes: 2 adults and 2 children
Ingredients
- 200 g pasta shapes
- 1 small tin tuna in spring water, drained
- 4 tbsp sweetcorn
- 400 g passata, no added salt
- 60 g mild cheddar, grated
Contains: Fish, Wheat, Milk
Method
- Cook the pasta; mix with the tuna, sweetcorn and passata.
- Top with cheese and bake at 200 °C for 15 minutes.
- Squash the sweetcorn in your child's portion; salt the adults'.
Safety: One small tuna portion a week at this age. Sweetcorn squashed. Serve your child's portion first, then salt the rest for the adults.
Storage: Fridge 2 days.
Tip: Tuna is convenient but higher in mercury than other fish — for a toddler, one small portion a week, and oily fish the rest of the time.
