Baked potatoes with beans and cheese
- Age: 12–18 months (Family food)
- Texture: Family meal
- Prep: 5 min
- Cook: 60 min
- Makes: 2 adults and 2 children
Ingredients
- 4 baking potatoes
- 400 g tinned haricot beans, rinsed
- 200 g passata, no added salt
- 1 tsp mild paprika
- 4 tbsp grated cheese
Contains: Milk
Method
- Bake the potatoes at 200 °C for an hour until soft.
- Warm the beans in the passata with the paprika; squash some.
- Split the potatoes, scoop your child's flesh into a bowl and mash it with the beans and a little cheese; salt the adults'.
Safety: Beans squashed. Cool your child's portion — the centre holds heat. Serve your child's portion first, then salt the rest for the adults.
Storage: Beans keep 3 days in the fridge.
Tip: Homemade baked beans: no sugar, no salt, and better than the tin.
